    Event Details:
    The young women of the YMCA Tri-Hi-Y program will be having a toy drive for the families of the Abilene community. During these times of struggle, the YMCA knows how important family is, and wishes to offer help in finding toys for your loved ones. The women of Tri-Hi-Y will be donating items for Christmas to families in need. Tri-Hi-Y is a community service led organization for high school girls in grades 10-12. The Tri-Hi-Y objective is to help each member select goals for positive personal living and to be of service to the community. The girls participate in community service projects, fund-raising events, sports and decorating their High School Winter Formals. Tri-Hi-Y will be accepting requests from September 21-November 13. Please come to the State Street YMCA, located at 3250 State Street, Abilene, TX 79603, and fill out a request form. Toys will be available for pick-up on December 4, 2009 to ensure families have their items in time for Christmas.
