Angela was born and raised in McKinney, Texas, just north of Dallas. Before graduating from Angelo State University in San Angelo on a soccer scholarship, Angela changed her major several times before deciding on Broadcast Journalism. She graduated in 2003 with a double major in Communications and Kinesiology and a minor in English.

Starting as an intern at our sister station KLST TV in San Angelo in May of 2003, she then worked her way from assistant producer, to producer and then to reporter and weekend anchor. She moved to KTAB TV later that year. 

Angela is married, has one daughter, and in her free time she likes to read, work-out and spend time with her family and dog Dixie.
