KTAB Weekend Sports anchor/reporter Manuel Diaz is a West Texas native of Christoval. Manny graduated from Angelo State University where he obtained a degree in Communications, Radio/TV. While at Angelo State, Manny was the Sports Director of ASU’s access channel “Ram TV.” Along with covering an array of ASU athletics. Manny also served as a public address announcer in his hometown of Christoval on Friday nights, and was also the voice of the minor league baseball team, the San Angelo Colts.

Manny first fell in love with sports broadcasting watching ESPN Sportscenter as a child and has enjoyed distributing sports news ever since.

Manny enjoys watching an assortment of sports but some of his favorites would include football and basketball. He especially loves watching the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs.

When away from the desk Manny enjoys a good pickup game of basketball, working out, and spending time with his family and friends.
