Texas hero Lance Armstrong is scheduled today to help launch a campaign supporting Proposition 15, a $3-billion-dollar cancer research bond initiative on the statewide ballot November 6th.

Armstrong, a cancer survivor and chairman of the Austin-based Lance Armstrong Foundation, plans to join several state lawmakers at Rice stadium in Houston, where they will speak to the news media.
