The Chinese have taken an interest in America's wind power industry and the 'Lone Star State.' In fact the Chinese are partnering with the U.S and investing into a one-point-five billion dollar new wind farm to be build in western part of Texas over 36-thousand acres.

The 600-megawatt project would produce the power to light up about 180,000 homes. The turbines themselves will be built in China. Officials involved in the project have not disclosed exactly where the wind farm will be located in West Texas.
