He talked with residents at Frontier Texas about his campaign for reelection. Governor Perry was met by residents with a standing ovation. The biggest topic was the federal budget, and the effect President Obama has had on the United States. Governor Perry spoke openly about not supporting some of Obama's decisions when it comes to money and immigration. Governor Perry also talked about meeting local servicemen at the airport, his pride in the Air Force, and his history here in the Big Country. The main reason Governor Perry was in Abilene today was to talk about his platform and success as our states governor. Supporters left with "Perry 2009" stickers to post proudly on cars. |
