The Abilene ISD school board gets back to work next week following the vote-down of the $25 million career tech bond.

Board members meet Monday in regular session.

They will discuss renovating Jefferson Middle School.

Some officials want to use it to host three of Abilene's specialized schools.  They say the move will save the district money.

The board will also look at finalizing next year's school calendar.
