Anonymous says, "KTAB managing KRBC should be illegal. I have never cared for viewpoints or the slant placed on news stories presented by KTAB. KRBC was my news program of choice, following Downing for many years. When Keating was added, i was very satisfied with the news presentations. Recent changes have made me a new fan of KTXS. I suspect it has made many others feel the same." One station managing another is perfectly legal, more common all the time in this business. You have a choice who to watch, you've exercised your right, it's a free country. Danny says, "I just wanted to say that the statement at the end of the "Chemical Abortion" segment by Megan Dobbs, "It looks like planned parenthood, and most likely abortion, are here to stay," was uncalled for. Especially after reporting that the 40 Days For Life group are praying that it ends. A forecast for abortion wasn't called for." Danny, technically she did say it, "looks like" and, "most likely," but your point is well taken. This issue continues to divide here and elsewhere. We credit Megan for telling the story and you heard both sides. We appreciate you watching and sharing your thoughts. Linda writes, "This is just a little note to say how much we enjoy watching Megan Dobbs do the morning news segment. She does a great job in letting us know the daily happenings. My husband and I live at Lake Ft. Phantom and Megan came to our home in August to do a Senior Spotlight report. The report was on doctors and Medicare. We were very impressed at that time because we could tell that she was really concerned about our issue. She is continuing with her caring and reporting each morning." Thanks Linda. Megan is quality, smart, very talented, we're fortunate to have her. And we thank you for writing. If you care to compliment or complain, go to the KRBC news tab and click on Feedback Friday. |
