Free diabetes tests will be offered in Abilene.

Mayor Archibald is hoping to raise awareness within the Abilene community about diabetes. He declared World Diabetes Day for November 14th for the city, and Walgreens around the country are offering free diabetes test.

The Walgreens on South 14th Street in Abilene will be doing its free tests November 16th from 9:00 until 3:00 p.m.
