Reed is excited to be able to help out local vets, and says that as of now the federal government will continue providing the funds to pay for these veteran families, as long as the money is available. If for some reason they can no longer help, the Abilene Housing Authority says that the Veterans and their families will still be able to receive housing under the low-income housing vouchers for citizens of Abilene.
