Born and raised in Oneonta, Alabama, Chris is a graduate of Mississippi State University's Broadcast Meteorology Program where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences with concentration in Broadcast Meteorology and a communication minor.

He joined the KRBC news and weather team in February 2008. Chris is our morning meteorologist on Abilene Today and Abilene Midday. He also serves as the environmental reporter for the "Big Country Green Report."

West Texas is no stranger to him as he started his weather forecasting and journalism career just down the road in San Angelo where he worked at our sister station KLST.

Chris has also worked in Eastern Mississippi and Western Alabama as the morning meteorologist and a news reporter with WTOK in Meridian, Mississippi.
Chris is a full time member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.
