It’s Freedom Fest 2008 starring Pat Green at The Taylor County Expo Pavilion Abilene, Texas. The time is right to thank our military women and men while celebrating the freedoms we enjoy because of their dedication. Sunday of Memorial Day
Weekend is the day; Taylor County Expo Pavilion is the place. 

Pat Green returns to Texas after a triumphant year of touring with nationally recognized acts Kenny Chesney, Sugarland, Dierks Bentley, plus the world wide release of a critically acclaimed book on Texas Dance Halls (Dance Halls & Dreamers University of Texas Press).

Green, best-known for his 2004 No. 3 country hit "Wave on Wave", is a Native Texan whose presence in any Texas venue turns the night into one for all “Dance Hall Dreamers”. He's also cracked the Billboard magazine country Top 30 with "Feels Just Like It Should," "Baby Doll" and "Don't Break My Heart Again" and is slated to play Bonaroo Music Festival and Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic.

Idaho transplants Reckless Kelly ("Break My Heart Tonight"), just out of the studio after recording their first release for heavy indie label Yep Rock, are crowd favorites across the US and in Ireland & Great Britain. The expert musicianship of the Braun Brothers (Cody & Willy) and the rest of the “Reckless Boys” have found them gracing such diverse stages as “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” (as adolescent members of The Braun Brother’s Band) and “The Music Fest”. They are perennial crowd favorites and tour constantly.

Birmingham ("If You Don't Like Me") and Lewis ("Come With Me") have placed songs on the Best in Texas Music magazine chart. Birmingham recently recorded with Waylon Jennings’ band The Waylors and conjures up the spirit of “Ol’ Hoss” more than any performer today. Zach Harmon is a young up-and-comer on the Texas Music Scene based out of Abilene.
