Victoria Osteen

My grandmother sent me an article from a Houston station about Victoria Osteen. You know, the ever so famous Joel Osteen's wife. She has been accused of assault on a flight attendant and was escorted off the plane and fined a large sum of money. And now the flight attendant is suing her.

Has anyone heard this yet?

Here is what happened IMHO


Queen Victoria did indeed get huffy and was being demanding. People with that much money shouldn't fly commercial if they don't want to put up the the crap from the airlines like the rest of us regular folks

the airline attendant started seeing dollar signs when Osteen's books sold millions and thinks because she got huffy and maybe a little physical, they just hit the lawsuit lottery and expects to retire from the whole thing.

Bottom line, get over it, the airline attendant isn't due anything other than an apology for crying out loud;)

Well it's our fine judicial system that allows these ridiculous lawsuits, so more power to her. I just wish it would've been me she elbowed in the chest...I would've settled out-of-court for a cool $500 G's :D:D

Before we went DVR and cable, all we could get was local stuff. We watched TBN almost all the time. We always enjoyed so much, Joel Osteen, and would watch his late dad, John. Years ago when my mom was ill or maybe after she passed on, I got a very nice hand written note from Dodie, Joel's mom. I guess I had written their ministry about my mom. That was so nice and really a surprise as busy as they must have been.

I think this is a shame that this happened. I also recall another incident involving Victoria way back, but can't recall exactly what she pulled then. I can imagine how embarrassed and ashamed Joel must feel. She seems very spoiled and childish. That's not Christian behavior by any stretch! Too, I am surprised they don't have their own leer jet or fleet of them. It is kind of strange they would fly commercial like Sparky said. Mom in law Dodie can't be happy about any of that.

She seems to need a good old fashioned over-Joel's-knee whipping like Ricky gives Lucy on I Love Lucy.:D Nah, just kidding--I hate violence, but she is like a spoiled brat.

Yesterday's eye-witness testimony from the pilot and other flight attendants helped Victoria's defense and further went on to disprove what the girl is suing for.

From what I understand they all said there was some altercation and verbal exchange, but NO physical attack by Victoria.

This "victim" is suing her for 10% of her net worth!!! BULL!! for being shoved??

Shame on the DA's office for letting this even get to a trial:mad:
