Angela Taylor interviewed a man with a photo but they never said where the picture was taken.

The picture he had looked just like the animal caught on tape by the DeWitt County Sheriff department

She said at the end of the story that the photo was taken along a gravel road in Taylor County. I just watched it.

I believe there is a creature in the photograph shown on the news and on the police car video out of DeWitt country of "some animal"

It would be interesting to know if this animal is at the root of the legend though.

it appears to be an previously unknown animal.
Science needs to catch up to it.

I think it is fascinating that we are still discovering new animals

People in mexico really believe. Looks like a funny dog in the video, though.

I believe that "creature" to simply be a coyote with a bad case of the mange. Not a chupacabra.

that may end up being the case Slapper, but the video showing the front legs shorter than the back and that pointed snout looks different.
I hope someone catches one soon so it can be studied and identified whatever it is

That is truely some strange sht. I saw the news piece when it first came out and thought it a little wierd but have since seen the full video where it turns it's head and gives a full profile. Don't know what it is but it don't look like any coyote I've ever seen. I have no dought that since their was more than one, then their is probably more and just a matter of time before someone traps one. It looks very much like the dead one found in Cuero last year.

Phylis Canion holds a photo of what she is calling a Chupacabra in Cuero, Texas, Friday, Aug. 31, 2007. She found the strange looking animal dead outside her ranch and thinks it is responsible for killing many of her chickens. (AP Photo/Eric Gay)

"It is one ugly creature," Canion said, holding the head of the mammal, which has big ears, large fanged teeth and grayish-blue, mostly hairless skin.

They have also been seen around U.F.O. sightings.

Ya know the old stories down in Mexico are that they have wings and fly. Some have even said they were alien experiments or hybrid alien experiments. I just thought I would add a little to the story. You can ask a native of Mexico, an older one that is, and I am sure they can tell you all kinds of stuff about them.
