We ordered pizza last night from a local establishment and had it delivered. Upon delivery, the person said, "Here's your Diet Pepsi to wash down 6,000 calories of pizza." I politely informed the young man that I am a diabetic and could not drink the other stuff and gave him the check for the purchase. He looked at the check and since it was for the correct change, he said, "Did i forget to tell you that I do accept tips?" Little did he know I was reaching in my pocket to hand him a $5.00 bill for a tip. When he said that, I kindly put it back in my pocket and told him thank you for delivering our pizza and shut the door.

Needless to say, management was informed of this and they weren't very happy about it.

What is wrong with folks now days??

Lots, Rusty. Lots of stuff is wrong now days. There isn't a day passes, someone in serving the public in a store doesn't get my dander up. Sure miss the good old days.

While I don't expect to get my butt kissed, I do expect courteous and respectful service. The sarcastic little t*** you had to deal with obviously wasn't raised right, and I'm glad you didn't tip him.
