I recently bought a new camcorder, a Sony that is a Hybrid.
No, it doesn't run on electric or gasoline:)
It uses either a Memory Stick hard drive or records to a mini DVD
We just came back off of a road trip and I have to say, I love how this thing records. The video quality even on the middle setting is way better than the old High 8 , I had been used to.
I think I paid about $50 less for this camera than I did for the older one 5 years ago...
