Didn't mean to offend anyone. Just tired of being fed lies.
Palin just happened to be the soup of the day.
I have no agenda, am not a Democrat, and even helped elect Bush to his first term. Even voted for his daddy. If Obama screws up, I will be the first to be checking it out for myself as I hope you all do. It is our duty to get informed. Personally, I would vote for Ron Paul if he was a viable candidate.

The thing is is that Obama has already screwed up. No one see it. I have yet to really see his 'change'. I want to see him pledge the flag. I want to see him thank our troops for fighting so hard so he is able to be where he is. He can do none of it. I want to see the flag put back on his plain. I want to see him have the love for the flag, which is our country, the kind of love that brings tears to a man's eyes love. He is incapable of it. He already screwed up!

And I dont think any feathers are being ruffled. Just passions coming alive. People are very passionate about their political views as well as with religious views. It is nice to see passions come alive.

I have been sanctioned by bigcountryhomepage, still don't really understand why, so I could be gone at anytime. I will try to be less informative and/or longwinded. As for the flag thing, I will look into it. Always assumed he was just making a statement against the present administration . Then the GOP spin, I thought.
The flag is a symbol for some and sacred to others.
Doesn't mean either is wrong just a product of their upbringing and enviroment. Personally, I would not burn a flag but would support your right to do so if you wished. I have the right to disassociate myself from people who don't think like me but where is the fun in that?

I don't have feathers.
But if I did, what you have posted wouldn't have re-arranged them.:)

I'm leaning toward McCain, but I'll wait for the last shoe to drop before saying one candidate is better than the other one. A while back, I saw the bit about Obama refusing to say the Pledge of Alligence or salute the flag and did a little research. Some sites I trust more than others. Snopes.com is one of the trustworthy ones, so I checked there. Take a look at their analysis at http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/anthem.asp

You are right not me. Obama is just what our terrorist want. Like I said brfore, if he gets elected, he will appoint liberal judges to the supreme court and they will take the constitution and burn the rest of it. There will no longer be a constitution.

Does anyone remember that movie 'The Postman'? I think that is what it is called. That is Obamas America when he gets finished with it. None the less, it was a good show.

Same here. Many folks on this forum have EXTREMELY thin skin, and sometimes it's hard to have an exchange of ideas and opinions without someone whining or being offended (I've already been banned once). It's almost like our posts have to be overflowing with flowers and sunshine, or risk your post being edited or even worse being banned. Bottom line is you didn't ruffle any feathers with me. I'm all for difference of opinion and debate....it would just be nice if people would lighten up and not be offended if someone has a different opinion.

excellent point Slapper:D

I have found that when someone posted an opinion and then I posted counter to it, then they have gotten upset at me.
If you throw something out there, please be able to take the replies as well.
