Shying Away

I nearly fell off the couch when I saw Howdy Ya'll and Rusty1955's posts glaring on the screen of my TV on the KTAB News tonight! It occurred to me we better watch more carefully what we say, because our words can be put on air hopefully, WITH the author's permission.

I'm going to shy away from here for a while. I never know when anything I say about any business or a personal gripe might be blasted over TV screens throughout the Big Country! I wouldn't even want some of my silly posts aired. Privacy went zooming out the window, it seems.

What in the world was my post on there and which post was it?????? This is very interesting. I do not care if they got my permission or not, I would just like to know which post it was. Please tell.

It was in reference to your post on the Sarah Palin speech. What was said on the news was, "I think she presented herself in a very diplomatic way, a way that would gain respect from other nations."

Part of yours, part of rusty1955's and part of WakeUpSheeple's was on the news cast at 6 & 10 on KTAB.

Wow, sorry I missed it.
Yet this is Abilene and it might get replayed in our morning, afternoon, and evening editions of " the daily news cast " for the next three days . On different stations even.
A celeb now. I'll have to watch my spelling better. not.
As for permission, none expressly given, that would be a perfect world, but I realize my words are out there and fair game. In their defense, I do think I recall either a commercial or ad or something hinting at the possibility of airing some posts.
Am I off probation yet, I'm a celeb.LOLOLOLOL
I don't think this one will get aired but I hope they get the hint I'm tired of recycled news.
