Yes, I think he really means what he says. He really spoke sencere tonight and that really 'looked' good. The debates will tell a lot. I can still remember the first democratic debate when Obama was asked who our most valued allies were and he said nothing about Israel and when it was brought to his attention he was at a loss of word, did not know what to say. Then he made the excuse later that he was just a little tired and nervous. Ya right!

He is certainly not a dynamic speaker. I agree that he is sincere and there is no question of his patriotism and love for our country. I thought he spent way too much time introducing himself and too little time on his specific agenda. He hit all the buzz words but didn't give many specifics. For instance, how is going to reduce taxes? He obviously promoted school vouchers or that concept. I need to have a lot more meat from him before I am comfortable. I got nothing from Obama and would not be inclined to vote for him, but I would like some substance from McCain in return for my vote.

Reminds me of Bob Dole back in 199?
He hung around so long, they let him run for President because it was his turn:D
Not the speaker, not the Constitutional Scholar, not the Conservative.

I also think Obama is sincere in his speeches, I just do not think he i true to the country. The love that brings tears to a man's eye when the Nation Anthem is sung. That is the kind of Pres I think we should have.

Same here, Howdy. I belong to an off topic forum for tinnitus, and that is the biggest bunch of Obama-loving liberal dummies I've ever seen in my life. If they want us to sell out to the terrorists and make Kruschev right about "We will bury you without firing a single shot", then let 'em have Obama. Serve 'em right, but we'll be the victims as well.

Those dummies will end up saving your butt someday despite your loathing.
Before this turmoil is over in the financial markets, the playing field will get leveled when all of us go broke. Better have a skill that will be in demand or you may find yourself poor and homeless, and on your own. Oh yeah, and that land you'll be squatting on will belong to China.
P.S. HOWDY-----
Here's your patriotic hero
Admitting pure ambition as his driving force in 2000 not patriotism
Brings a tear to my eye also.

I think I have misled you into thinking I am an avid McCain supporter. I am not. I just really despise Obama. I feel McCain is the lesser of 2 evils. I really do like his choice for VP. The way he choose her is the best way of all. Obama is pure evil. Too many slips that show who he really is, anti American. That is the only reason I am defending McCain against Obama. Every time I hear or say or type Obama, it reminds me of Osama. I just can't vote for someone who is compassionate toward terrorist or have the desire to be independent from foreign oil. It should have never left, or for someone who cries alternative fuel, but does not have the desire to push it on American soil. Obama is non American. Where was Obama wife on 9/11 when he and McCain went to ground zero, not with him. He was very distant toward the soldiers, firemen, police, etc. It made me sick to see him try to be compassionate to America's sorrow.
I am still looking into the Constitution Party to be honest with you. Those are my 2 choices.
As far as Obama saving my butt, hahahahahaha, not even close, he will tax my butt into the poor house, while all the poor drug heads get my money.

He went there to hold hands with Bush. I don't diminish at all the tremendous loss. I was very sad and angry and confused. McCain belonged there, I did not expect to see a junior Senator there from across the isle.
Did you read PM before or after writing this post?
