It seems that 800trunkerman has the same MO here as he does on our Midland forum. He likes to do a drive by derogatory post, then go back in and delete it when he's confronted with it.

In this particular post up there, he originally posted this:

There is one based in Midland/Odessa that isn't such. It not only allows porn images but it's mods condone and promote it! It is nothing more than a clique full of beer bellied, hot winded jerks. There are a handful of truly nice folks on it, but very few. It is the largest West Texas forum on out that way.

I dared to say something on that forum about the filth that I was seeing. Nearly everyone on there came at me with flaming posts, including a mod! The mods are nothing more than hypocrites who will post halo-clad posts in their church forum then come back over into general chat and post nasty sexual inuendos there. I have been a member of that mess for over a year, but am thinking of just checking out.

When I requested a lude thread be deleted, a mod had nerve to tell me she would but since I didn't word my request right, deliberately left it up.

I'm so glad we have the type forum here we do. It is moderated by the best and done the right way.

What he didn't count on is that several of us from the Midland forum also read and occasionally post here. So when he was confronted by us with a copy of this, he deleted it to destroy the evidence, as is his cheap shot way.

I think the people of this forum should see what he's writen about you over there. He posted this about you all over there on our forum:

Things are getting typical Abilene-nasty on that bigcountryhomepage site here, and I am not comfortable there any more. The friendliness I have found and friendships here, are non-existent on the aforementioned site.

Just want to say thank you to all here who have made us feel so welcome. You are all truly several cuts above what we have in this town as far as nice folks. Don't ever change!

As of the time I am making this post - the link above will take you to see his very words posted. But I just reckon if you don't look pretty fast, they will soon be deleted by him, just as he deleted his opening post here.

Just today, yet another thread he started on our fourm that went controversial has been locked, and his opening post (negitive about Abilene clerks at Wal-mart) has been deleted. He is a two-faced very bitter little man.

Right it is, 'howdy'. That forum over there is not what you think--it is a "sick clique", and treats others who are not "in" like dirt. I have reported his post, and I feel it will be dealt with on short order. They flame, bait, you name it on the MIDLAND forum, and even their own mods condone and participate in this flaming and baiting.

Howdy and I are buddies, Midlander, and everyone here gets along or GETS! You'll be banned here where there you can get away with flaming and baiting. It doesn't wash here. You aren't welcome or needed, and how dare you disrupt this FRIENDLY and ORDERLY forum.

What this liar didn't tell is I posted good things about here, that we don't flame or bait, or we are banned. We and our great mods do the job right here, and it is a great peaceful place to be, quite unlike MOF at MIDLAND TEXAS

Well, I'm trying to be at peace with them over there. The head admin explained to me it's an open forum, and to me, I guess that means a free for all knock'em sock'em forum. He was very nice and filled me in, even told me it was worse than that before he came on! It's kind of a Jerry Springer version of a forum. IOW, you can flame, bait do it all, and not be banned. That's not my style, and I believe in being nice to others and having them be nice to me. I may stay on and lovingly just trade barbs with 'em, but it's really not my thing. What goes on one forum may not go on another one.

Ol' Drillingmonkey is a good kid too. We all have a lot of sass in us, and it has to come out somewhere. May as well be MOF.:D

Ten four on the family. That's the best "sport" there is. Me and the wife always watch them Cowthings together, so guess we're doing a family thing plus TV as well. Best of two worlds!
