I must be losin' it. I know full well I have bought Chevron gas to put in my car, but now, I can't find one station in Abilene that has it! It seems it was near S.14th and the Freeway I got it. Did I dream I put Chevron in my car or is there not a Chevron station here anymore? I've seen the logo somewhere and bought the gas within the last two years I know.
Da-da-DA-da! I'm in the Twilight Zone for certain!

I see. Thanks, Ron. Seems all these gas companies are buying each other out. You never know what you're putting in your tank. It may say Shell and be Texaco, or Clem's Pushwater, Muleshoe, Texas!:D

I just wrote two contact inputs on the Chevron site asking why there are none here. Like Brookshire's, I guess they want no part of Abilene. They're all saying there is nothing to worry about with our economy, but businesses are closing or pulling out of here left and right! Am I the only one noticing that? Probably not.
No wonder other top quality businesses like Brookshire's and Chevron want no part of this. Their eyes are open and they are using their common sense.

Wow, I don't know where you're getting your news from, but all I hear "them" say is that everyone should be worried about our economy and the financial crisis we're in.

Thanky, sir/ma'am. Sorry, don't know which you are.
I looked at that Avis Lube on S. 14th as we passed by yesterday, and I didn't see a sign of a gas pump anywhere. That beats it when top tier fuels like Chevron and Texaco with Techron can't even be found in this size town! I think Fina and Shell have the gas monopoly here. I like Shell fine, buy it all time- just wanted to experiment a little with Chevron or Texaco, get that good Techron in the system, see how it worked.
