It was sure a good day today! Just cool enough to go to town with the top down on the car. And to top it all off, I got a very good diet coke. :)

Addict of the worst kind.

Living in the country has it's goods and bads just like town living but I wouldn't have it any other way. Sometimes our fresh air is not so fresh with the livestock around us. :( I also see that you are a night owl too.

Ever have any pole kitties show up? Those pups can unfreshen the air in a NY minute!:D

There is nothing better. From where we live, we have a great view of the Midland skyline. We can also see the fireworks at the Rockhounds stadium from our deck upstairs. And we are still just 10-15 minutes from getting anywhere in Midland, including the airport. Nothing like a good cup of Joe and fresh livestock in the morning. :)

something you may not have known:
The vapors from the oilfield, when mixed with the vapors from livestock dung, can create a gas that is cancer causing, as well as causing other things like asthma and emphysema.
When you get up in the morning, and you see that white mist...that is the gas i refer to. Been a year or two since i read about it, so the names escape me.

Yes they have. My dog ran into two of them in less than a month. (probably the same one)
