I heard HBO cameras will be rolling in training camp.
I don't have HBO, but if anyone knows what's up.
Might be worth getting.
Than again, maybe not.
Last year at Texas Stadium.
Sacred ground and a lot of good memories.
Thanks
Go Cowboys!!

I'm a fan of whatever team is playing the Cowboys.

I'm a fan of whoever is beating the Nashville Predators, which should be no hard feat.
Got a street fightin' Dallas Cowboys fan right here, Big Tex.

I guess that's easy to say when you don't even know how to lace up a pair of skates, much less stand up on them.

 Don't forget to mention you're a "fairweather fan". Look it up if you don't know what that means. I remember laughing at your posts on the old forums. When the cowboys lost, you'd fire off posts about how the cowboys suck and how the coach should be fired yadda yadda yadda. Then when they would win a game you'd fire off posts about how good the cowboys are and how great coach Phillips is. "Street fightin' Dallas Cowboys fan" (whatever that means).......yeah sure, but only if they win. Everyone remember this post when the season begins, I gaurantee he does the same thing.

At least my posts don't result in reports and being told my next false move would result in a ban.

What did you report this time? How is saying you're a fairweather fan against the rules? It's a legitimate term that's used on ESPN quite often and it certainly isn't derogatory. If I get a warning for that post then these forums have gone over the deep end and we can say goodbye free speech and hello communism. You really need to lighten up Honda05.

Just an old arn klaw dude, I reckon.
Ol' Fritz has been deceased since '97. He sure could do his stuff. I was in contact with his ex sister in law on e-mail for a while a few years ago, but she dropped out of sight. That was his wife Doris' sister. EronJane once emailed me pics of two of the sons when they were in grade school. Ugly lookin' little pups.
Now, Kevin, Doris and what few of them are left are all in Hawaii. I think Kev's daughter was wrapping up the sale of their Texas ranch according to the web site.
The arn klaw never is "light", Slapper, but I'll release it for a second or two on ya'.:D Give you a breath or two.
Yep, them Cowguys can thrill or upset us. True fans do fuss at 'em when they goof, but we're loyal throughout the season.;)

Always enjoyed watching those Oilers go after 'em when the Hicks weren't playing. That was our other Texas team rooting interest.

A part of me died when Houston lost the Oilers.
Your loss was my gain, Go Titans! :D My top three teams (in order) are:
Colts - I'm from Tennessee, so naturally I pull for Peyton's team.
Titans - I'm from Tennessee, 'nuff said.
Panthers - I was stationed in Charleston when the Panthers entered the league as an expansion team, and I have been a fan ever since.
And then of course any team that plays the Cowboys and plants Romo's face in the dirt. :D

Watched the Cowhicks scrimmage the other night. As every year, I look on it as practice and nothing serious. Trouble is, they keep losing like that during the year! They go out on scrimmages to practice, but their opposition always goes out to WIN! That won't grab a SuperBowl or playoff, Cowguys!
Hopefully, they'll have all the kinks ironed out by serious game time.

Whoa them cowgirls are off to a great start already! And did you know you could waste $300 on getting a little bitty 8 x 8 brick with your name on it and they will out them at the new stadium. i guess they have to find a way to supplement the extremely low attendance rate!

Anyone watch that "Hard Knocks" Cowboys training camp special on HBO? I'm not a Cowboys fan but it looked interesting so I DVR'ed it. I'll probably watch it this weekend.

Have you tried to get tix for a regular season home game?
Sold out. Unless you buy them from a ticket broker at a lot higher price.

why would i want to see the cowgirls playing on a field? its bad enough seeing them on TV. the people in the stands are mainly season ticket holders.

I haven't seen the final score, but I'm sure Denver kept their lead to whip their tails.
I don't see why a team that seldom wins is building an elaborate new stadium. The way they play, they should be put back in the Cotton Bowl where they started, much less have an already nice one at Irving. I root for them, but more and more, I feel it is wasted effort on my part. Jones is getting older and more senile and winning doesn't seem to be his goal anymore, just having a daily b.m. and a girlfriend or two on the side to cheat on his wife. That new stadium is for Mr. Jones' insatiable ego, NOT the Cowboys or their fans, IMHO.

the dallas cowboys sell 60 % of their tickets to major ticket exchange companys such as stub hub, and ticketmaster etc etc.... the dallas cowboys only sell SEASON PASSES thru their website. the ONLY way to get individual game tickets is to purchase thru a ticket exchange where you can at ALL times find several hundred tickets no matter what.

I stand corrected.
Went by the new stadium Sunday. What a sight.
Preseason doesn't mean squat.
2 weeks until we see what the Cowboys have.
My prediction for '08: 11 wins-5 losses and a wildcard.:D

I think that's easily doable for the Cowboys this year. That way I'll get to enjoy another first round playoff loss!! :D Romo's face is always priceless after those first round losses!!!!

If healthy enough, Dallas will stomp everybody this year.
Big if in the NFL where 90% of the good teams are a couple of key injuries away from average at best. I predict Dallas wins it all against the Jets.
Farve might get one more chance to beat his nemisis. At least it would be on a nuetrel field.
Giants miss the playoffs altogether.:D
Suffering from the Rodney Dangerfield Syndrome, they will get no respect, they will crumble after a so-so start, as the pressure starts to mount. Meanwhile the Jets, with a decent start will get tons of support.
This my dream.
Oh yeah, Cowboys gotta stay out of jail and noses clean, thats a given.

The Cowboys looked good in Week 1.
Some stupid penalties which will improve.
I'm gonna revise my prediction.
14-2.
Philly will be a tough opponent if the stay healthy.

That had to be one of the craziest games ever.
Was I the only one who noticed the cowboys got screwed out of a time-out before the half? Turns out they didn't need it but could have been very important. When McNabb was running around trying to score, he stepped out of bounds and that should have stopped the clock. Instead the Cowboys had to use their second time out. I have Tivo and freeze framed it. Definity out of bounds. I was screaming, get your time out back so you can go down and kick a field goal before half time.
Crazy game, another win.
HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS!

Great start for the boys.
Wish T.O. was smiling a little more. He needs to stay happy.
He did make a couple of great blocks for Austin to get into endzone.
This going to be a tough division this year.
Got to play smart.
Tony did get his first and second ever grounding penalties.
I think thats a good thing.

They finally met their match with the Redskins Sunday, but some "convenient" officiating oversights helped that along. The intentional grounding the Skins' QB pulled and was allowed, just stuff like that helped the Skins clinch the victory. Sure would help to have some fair officiating sometimes; either that or have them wear their glasses.

I didn't know we had out of state members on here.
It was about time the skins did win after a 20 mile long losing streak even if it was the best team in America they caught not playing at 100%. No Cowboy fans hurting here.

I am just a temporary transplant to Texas, thanks to Dyess. I grew up in Maryland, so the Skins will always be my team!!
I should probably take out some extra home owners insurance, as I plan of flying my Redskins flag outside my house!!!

National spotlight tonight against the Skins. A must win.

it was a good game. Romo played well, and really only threw 1 INT.
Marion Barber, however, appears to be the franchise. Man, that guy is tough.
