Just registered today. Heard a lot about this place, thought i would drop by and see it in person. :)

I am from big spring, but went to HSU there back in 92 (GO COWBOYS!!!). I love abilene, and have some family over there that most of you likely know (but i will save them the embarassment of you associating them with me...LOL).

I use the same login everywhere. :) At abovetopsecret.com (one of the worlds largest forums) you can find me, as well. :)

I really enjoy "alternative science" research (read: i am a tinfoil hat wearer), and have some of my research hosted at www.livingmoon.com and am a member of the Pegasus research group.

There was a dust up recently over there...but that isn't why i am here. I am here because i really like abilene and wanted to see what was going on over in the big country. :)

i am only going to address this once, westtxn:

Obeying forum rules is never an issue. As i mentioned, i am a fairly esteemed member on one of the largest forums on the internet.

I have always been very nice, very cordial, and very patient with you. My only exception is when you insulted hispanics (my beloved wife and two beautiful boys are hispanic or half/half), and when you insulted the entire forum on the whole (of which my graceful mother is a participant that has prayed for you and supported you in your myriad illnesses over the last year).

I do not know what you refer to when you attempt to include my in any "gang over there". I am my own man, i owe my choices to no one else, and do not follow any crowd. I despise being lumped in with any "gang", even though the "gang" you refer to are my friends (for the most part) that i spend a lot of time with (nearly 5000 posts in the last year on that forum).

To let it be known: i did not join to create problems. That is for others to do if they so choose. I joined this site because I have lived in that area, have family in that area, and was made aware that this site existed. It happened for me today because today was the first time i have seen a link to this forum.

I might caution that if you try to close things up too much, you will be left talking to yourself. This place is dead as it is, and ANY new membership might benefit it. This is the only thread that shows as having any activity around here in the last several hours.

Well, I am convinced you did not join this forum to cause problems being that your very first post WAS a problem. But other than that.....


The moon tells me to say goodnight and happy posting.....being that this is the only day that the midland 'gang' came over here all in the same day.....lol

And you are very true, we could use some really good discussions over here, not attacks, but good topics that are not nasty gossip, or hateful attacks. Also it is nice on the quiet days, especially Sundays because it appears people are doing what they should do, go to church, spend time with family and friends.

Not a problem here........we like it just like it is.

If you ban yourself, well I guess the moon was not in your favor this evening....

Oh, and by the way, that lunar site is very interesting, thanks for posting it.

truly fun and happy. We believe that being a big family, we can share and give advice. We have great insight of local and current events and a lot of laughs are guaranteed.
