Do we think we are going to get snow this year? I really like the rain and the cooler temperatures. My kids have never seen snow until we moved here. I remember one time it started to snow where we lived at 2 in the morning, so I woke the kids up to see the 2 flakes that fell and melted as soon as it landed.....They were not impressed.

Now, the snow we got sense we have been here impressed them.

In fact, I have never bought coats and gloves until we moved out here, we just had light jackets.

Howdy, "Howdy"! It may do it! We seem to get a pretty good sprinkling of the pretty white stuff around Jan. sometimes, Feb. I have a picture I made of it last year I'll try to rig up on here. Not to be nosy, hopefully, where did you guys move here from? Sounds like maybe a warmer climate.

I'll go hunt up that picture and see if it will fly.

I see. Yep, you're likely to see some of this before the winter is done if we are running an average winter. It is a sight to behold!

Nice picture. Is Houston too far south for snow? I guess the humidity has something to do with it.

Nic pic.

Interesting stat....when we are in a neutral pattern (No El Nino - No La Nina) like this Winter..... we have a 50% chance of temperatures at night getting below 10 degrees.

Strangely enough, I do not recall starting this thread in Meet and Greet. Oh well if I did. Dont think the forum will come to an end because of it.

One thing is for sure around Abilene, they have a theory about snow. "If God put it down, let Him take it away."

global warming.. haven't you heard?;)

If you look at the science behind it, it actually makes winters worse (colder and more precipitation) and summers worse (hotter, bigger storms "Ike").
