Greetings all! I have 2 dogs. One is a solid white German Shepherd the other is a brindle Scottish Terrier, or Terrorist as he is know by around here.

The Shepherd is protective of my wife and myself as is the Scottie. The one thing that sets them apart, except their size and color, is if someone comes in the back yard. the Shepherd will let them in, but won't let them back out. The Scottie won't let them in the house at all though.

My Scottie used to go in the truck with me when I drove cross country. He really enjoyed it being out and about. One thing about him, he can be either the sweetest, loveable dog to someone he has never met or he will bite them right off. He can just tell when someone isn't "right" if you know what I mean.

I have a 4 year old Doxy, and a 2 year old Chihuahua/Rat terrier mix.

The Doxy is the ringleader, the mix is the mindless follower.

He is a gorgeous dog, and picture perfect for his breed. He acts like a Doxy, too. Hard headed like you couldn't imagine. He is also the hunter and defender. If a bug runs across the floor, he hunts it down (this has resulted in some scorpion stings, and a few very scary nights treating him for the reaction). He also will not allow anyone in the house without our approval.

But the mix? She is a mess. She tucks her tail so far that you think she has a growth on her chest. I adore her, though. She is very sweet, and loves to cuddle. She isn't pretty, and i think has some mental incapability. But she is extremely fast, and has very good instincts. We joke that she is "0% brains, 100% instinct".

I love both my dogs very much. I love them just enough to not get another one. I don't want to take away from the attention i give them, as they are both needy. :D

She wasn't real thrilled about wearing that scarf on her head (that was my wife's idea). :D:D

that first photo seems to be telling someting. LOL.

here are my two:

The doxy LOVES dress up, and will whine for some sort of clothing non stop until you put it on him.

this one is "special". And has really bad red eye in this photo:

I love her the most. She was the runt of her litter, and is just very fragile in her psyche. She needs more love, it seems, so i give it to her.

The doxy? Everyone wants to pet him. He gets love from the whole neighborhood.

We have a 2 year old pug and a 7 month old chihuaha. The chihuahua runs the roost as our pug is such a gentle natured darling. They are our children now as the actual children have moved on, married and are supplying us with grandkiddos now! Sophie Kay is our pug and Claire Marie(Bear as we call her) is our chihuahua. Believe me, bear is appropriate. Loves people, but quite the control freak! We also have a twelve year old cat named Rudy. Rudy is actually a girl(oops)! Couldn't tell til name had stuck! Year before last year was a tough one for us. Our 14 year old chihuahua, Trigger, passed due to age and bad dog food combination, our Jack Russell(Missie, a boy with an identity problem, hehe) ran off to never be found again, and our Great Pyrenese died of a heart attack at age 6! So glad I made it through all that. I sure didn't think I would. It's so easy to get attached!
