A really good friend out west sent this to me. It is amazing! I do not really care if anyone like the LDS faith, but my hats go off to them for standing up and showing they have a voice too and are not afraid to stand up for their vote. It just goes back to that double standard I mentioned earlier in a different thread.

(guess you will have to copy and paste it)

To bad they could not get someone other than obama elected.....lol

i was watching Colbert last night, and he said that it seems that the primary vote against prop 8 were older people.

The gay guy he was interviewing said "Yes, so we will just wait till they die and put it up there again."

Well, the report that I got was that it was the black community as well that stood up as well. But what those people are doing in retaliation is wrong, and they are not going to jail for vandalism or quiet protest. They are being violent toward the LDS people for making their voice heard.

yup, it is wrong.

the will of the people was heard, and sour grapes will not endear their cause in future votes.

you can't fix stupid. :)

just how many times do the folks in CA have to vote on this before someone takes it seriously.
isn't this the 3rd time something like this has been on the ballot?
