ACU on Probation for NCAA Infractions

I was just reading this article and this sounds really severe punishments for these indescressions.

It probably is, Howdy. Anything to do with Christians or a Christian type organization is naturally going to take it all on the chin. A secular school would probably get a hand slap.

I saw on the news tonight that the "gifts" that the athletes received were from a CHURCH! You mean to tell me that a church cannot even give gifts to foreign students?? What does the NCAA think, they are gonna sway the outcome of a track meet with a pair of socks or a crock pot?? This is one of the most redundant things I have heard since back in November. "Obama wins".

Best get off my soap box for now....

Beats my what is wrong with someone giving a gift to someone else that is 5,000 miles from home. The worst part about this whole thing, they were given these gifts as CHRISTMAS GIFTS!!!

Geez, no I guess I'll have to start asking folks that I give gifts too if they are a student of ACU so I won't get my tail in a crack over being compassionate.

I just thought I'd add that "in case" somebody that didn't know decides to join the forums and make a post every now and then.
