I will have lived in the Abilene area for four years on March 1, 2009. I really like the area. We live out close to the State Park and think it is really beautiful out here. I was wondering how to start a group. I have an adopted daughter who is searching for her birthfamily. She was born 8/27/78 a female in Fort Worth, Texas. I wish there was a place to post this. Any ideas?

I removed your email link. The spambots will pick that up, unless you like having your email box full of things about how to make millions in one day or how to improve your sex life, getting government grants that don't exist, etc.

Not censoring just trying to assist you as a new user here.

In answer to your question about her finding her birth family, have you tried the LDS church in Salt Lake City? They have the largest database of family trees in the world. They may be able to assist you in your search. Just a thought.

My in laws are really into the finding family trees, and they have used the LDS family search a lot. I have tried it several times as well, and have pretty good luck. Now I am not sure about adoptions. Has she started with the adoption agency? or even the hospital?

I hope she is successful in her search.
