Has anyone else noticed that after the night of thunderstorms and rain on April 11 - 12 that all the galvanized material at our place has a reddish gold tinge? I have a birdbath that's been in my yard for a couple of years and I noticed the reddish tone to the water and when it dried, it had a film on it. Then I noticed the metal on our old barn, which is galvanized panels, and the gates and metal on our chain link fences. Anyone else notice this? We are in the Clyde area.

Have not noticed anything like that around my part, I am west of Abilene. I will pay closer attention. Have you ever heard of chem trail? I have even seen that the gooberment tries to alter the weather by spraying a chemical in clouds and around to enhance the storm clouds so it will rain.
Whether or not this is what you are seeing, I have no idea, But I will tell you that I have watched plains flying with a tail going in long lines then turning and crossing those lines and then the trail would stop and they would fly off. And there was more than one plane doing the same thing.
Whether or not they were really spraying a chem trail of some sort, I have no idea.....I just thought it was unusual, and I see this activity a lot.
You should take a sample of it and keep it and if you can afford it, take it somewhere to be tested as to what it is.....like over at one of the colleges at their science department.

That sounds spooky. I've seen some planes make some wierd turns in the sky too, but that's when we were living in Las Vegas. Wierd things happen all the time there!
I might try and get some of the residue and take it in for testing. The birds have stopped using the birdbath, so I might mix it with some of the water in there and take it to the health dept. When we tested our water there it was only $35.00.
My husband seems to remember some sort of a chemical "leak" in Midland sometime. With the winds we have here, half of Midland's air must be here!!

Wow....I have not heard of the chemical leak, but I have had a metalic taste in my mouth sense the rain. I just thought it was my body reacting to something or another......I wonder if anyone else has had the same taste.

Spooky, guys! I know one thing: I've been having the most horrible allergy and sinus symptoms of my entire life over the past few weeks! I'll get to feeling so bad, it actually feels like a bad infection, then in a few days, I come out of it. It's probably that fallout I'm breathing that ya'll are seeing.
How could an enemy nation be stopped from putting up a satellite to dump germ warfare on us? It could be done. I don't think this is what we're seeing and breathing, but who knows anymore.

I noticed that my run off buckets were filled with a murky brown water. It looked like someone had poured some phantom water in them lol. I poured all but one out. I put a lid on it to see if it would clear up so I can use it for the flowers. I though it was just some lubbock dust that had blown in with the rain.

Did the water in your bucket ever clear? I guess Lubbock dirt would be a reddish brown. How about any galvanized material in your yard or the latches on your gates?

Well I just checked it. Its somewhat clear. Still quite murky, but I can see the bottom (5 Gallon White Bucket). Normally its as clear as the garden hose water. Something is strange about that rain for sure.

Maybe it's acid rain.

No problems of the residue. Seems like it was a one time thing!
