"Water Utilities Director Tommy O’Brien told the council that enough municipal wastewater exists to meet Tenaska Trailblazer Energy Center’s request for up to 1.8 million gallons per day."
"According to a study summary presented to the council, reclaimed water is available for future customers and for Tenaska’s request for 2,000 acre feet per year. However, providing a daily supply to Tenaska would likely require supplementing the treated wastewater. Sources could include Lake Kirby, Lake Fort Phantom Hill Reservoir — and potentially drinking water — during peak water-usage periods."

Those are some pretty scarey statements. Do any of you remember Fort Phantom being so dry you could nearly drive to the silos?
They shut down the WTU plant because of water. What makes them think we are immune to drought?
