It's so good to see the Hyper Pepperoni back doing weather again, none other than Pete Beretta! We've not had a comedy flare with weather since the days of Charlie Jordan. Pete does a great job of presentation, but does it with flair!

The day we met him, I complimented his weather broadcasts. What did he say? Oh, I'm sorry you had to see that! :D Thaat's Pete! One funny and colorful character. I wonder what kind of monologues he does at fire scenes. I bet it makes the job go lots easier for everyone. Wish everyone had an upbeat personality like Pepperoni Pete.
He's one great day brightener.

I met Pete while I was volunteering out at the Icehouse as a rink monitor....seemed like a pretty cool dude.

He really is, Slapper. They broke the mold when they made ol' Pete.

Edited by Mod1.

Edited by Mod1.

I mispelled some words originally, and it looks like the Mod was kind enough to edit them for me. :D

That's good. I need him to check mine every time I post on here. I misspell kat on a regular basis.

I love Pete's broadcasts he makes any weather sound good... However this thread's title reminded me of a movie from long ago "Italian Stallion", is a 1970 softcore porn film, which has the distinction of being Sylvester Stallone's first film and also his first starring role. Sorry I couldn't help myself.

this whole thread makes me uncomfortable
I wonder if Pete minds all of the ethnic comparisons?

Try complimenting a great guy and weatherman...

Had I known the title of this thread was connected to some type of filth, I would have never titled it that. Some of us apparently know much more about those things than others. I don't.

That's the bad thing about this forum. It was put up before all the bells and whistles were in place like edit/delete, and to me that's putting a car on the street minus brakes. A wreck every time.

I'm uncomfortable with a web site where editing can't be had.
If it were in place now, I would have the Mod to wipe the entire thread.

I never meant discomfort or to remind anyone of a nasty film. That was not my intent.

For myself, this is my final post in this thread.

I hear you Honda about the lack of an edit button and a lack of alot of other features as well.
Not to get off topic, but I started a new thread to the admin team about some updates as to when some of these tools were going to come online

Well, I will simply add to this thread how much I like Pete, too. He is such a cheerful guy, fun to watch.

Sure is. He puts adrenaline into his presentations, a bit of humor and animation. He could do well to go into TV weather all together. He has an excellent voice for it too.
Ya' readin' us, Pete?;)

Hi Guys!
Just wanted to say "Thanks" for all the kind words!! Hope we can keep your weather forecasts informative and somewhat entertaining unless, of course, things get "West Texas Nasty" and then it's time to get serious.

If you ever catch me out and about, PLEASE don't hesitate to say "Hi" - as I've never met a Nexstar viewer that wasn't "just good people" and would love the introductions!

Pete

p.s. - I know our airport is a "regional", I just say "international" as a way to say "Hi" to the guys out at the airport F.D. :)
Blessings! pb

holy smokes there Pete, what a screen name!;)

I remember way back when that little runt Dusty was doing the morning show with you.
Did he ever tell you about that trick he pulled on camera that morning directed to you?

I knew if you found out you might bring him some ex-lax laced brownies;)

Pete, I swear it is true, but one morning Dusty had you to his left and right before a break, he lifted up his cue card paper stack and on the back of it written so the viewers only could see it he had written "I'm with stupid" and and arrow pointing to you.

Dusty used to come to the forums quite a bit from up in Breckenridge and I talked to him about it. he laughed, it was all in good fun

by the way, how many gallons of coffee do you drink per day?

I love having Pete filling in for KTAB. He presents the weather as if he is sitting in a recliner in your livingroom.

Thanks Pete for all that you do!

He will be filling in again Thanksgiving at 5, 6 and 10....so I can eat!
