Food for thought:
As you watch the flooding in the Midwest, have you noticed that there
are no farmers running around with stolen plasma TVs or holding stolen
liquor over their heads. There's no looting or yelling "Where's Bush?",
"Where's FEMA?, Where's my check?", or "Why isn't the Gov't out here
saving me and my farm?" Likewise, I've also noticed there are no reports of any other country coming to help or sending aid.
What a contrast to New Orleans.

I thought the same thing.
I also noticed no celebrities are holding fund raisers for the farmers or the people in that area.

The vast majority in New Orleans are useless, lazy, unproductive members of society living off the government dole. That can be said about most inner city dwellers. Abilene has its share too. You know the ones that want to take from the rich and give their hard earned money to the useless. I say, "drug test all welfare recipients" and limit the time to receive funds unless disabled. Of course Obama's change will put America back together. BS!!

just as always, the working man is left on his own in times of disaster

Speaking of taking from the rich and these wack activist who want to encourage lazy welfare crime drug people who refuse to care for their own needs.....has anyone heard that under Obama's plan that people making over $250,00 will be taxed .50 on the dollar?
that means the people who have educations and make well deserved money will have to give half of their money to support the lazy inner city drug using crimianls.

Well that won't affect me then. While I'm very greatful for my pay and benefits, you just don't get rich being in the military. :)

you are right, but it does affect the civilian people who want to be better than poverty. What would be the point, there would not be any. we would all be nothing but losers living off the government, oh wait, the government would go broke.

I did hear Jay Leno say that he had been involved in a function that raised money for the people in Iowa. He is the only one I have heard anything about helping the flooding victims.
