Has anybody noticed how bad the snakes have gotten at Kirby???? We have fished it for years and seen many snakes out there. But they are horrible this year!!!!!!! They hang in the trees and swim all around us (in the boat) 3 and more at a time. Is it because the lake level is so low???????

I remember fishing from a tube in Kirby about 10 or 15 years ago and they were kind of bad then.
I can remember keeping a .32 Derringer in the side pocket of my tube loaded with rat shot just in case.:eek::eek:
I remember being on the look out for snakes esp when I was fishing up in the creek area with all of the brush around
