View Full Version : Possible useless waste?

It is unfortunate that the apartment building under construction was wiped out by the high winds last week. Unless I miss my guess entirely, I suspect that the entire pad will be cleared by bulldozer, with all the material ending up in the land fill. this is a useless waste of both resources. I am sure that some enterprising individual could put together a small crew and 'recover' much of the lumber, thus saving both the lumber, and precious landfill space.
I am not able to do this, (physical limitations), but it would be a double shame to have all of this valuable lumber simply scraped.

Hopefully someone will prevent it from happening.

I agree!!! My husband and I saw it the other day. We were thinking that we sure could use that lumber. Couldn't they at least donate it to the Restore?
