I think that it is pretty scary that most people really doesnt take the time to follow traffic rules especially on intersections. So even if you're a safe driver but the other driver is not.. most cases, the one who is very careful is the one to suffer. I noticed most of the time around our corner on S20th and Sayles Blvd.. right there where Les Music store is... people tend to run on a red light all the time.. It was pretty scary. My husband has almost been hit there twice. Normally my mother in law would always notice that particular white truck running on the red light there. I think that they should install cameras on that intersection.. dont you think?

Hi, kianshane18 and welcome on board.
I sure do! Every cotton pickin' light in town. I would feel safer driving the streets of Dallas than I do here. There, they KNOW they HAVE to be careful or get killed. Here, it's smaller, and more opportunities for chance-taking and insane driving.
I tend to blame poor traffic engineering. The lights aren't synched like they are in Big Spring. We were out there last summer and the lights on the main drag were synched beautifully. I also saw no one running red lights the whole time we were there. There, they don't have to with perfectly timed traffic lights.;)
