Big Country Area Lake Levels Update

 The Big Country's waterways continue to drop as the drought continues to worsen across the Lone Star State. Lake Fort Phantom Hill is over two-feet below. South of the city near Buffalo Gap, Lake Abilene is approaching four and a half feet below the spillway. Both of these lakes have dropped about dropped about two-tenths of a foot in the last month.

Stream flows along major rivers and creeks, such as the Colorado, Concho, Brazos and the Clear Fork of the Brazos River in the Big Country, Heartland and Concho Valley remain below normal, according to the U.S. Geological Survey Water Watch.

Lake Fort Phantom Hill - 2.2 Feet
Lake Abilene - 4.4 Feet
Lake Stamford - 3.7 Feet
Lake Hubbard - 4.4 Feet
Lake Brownwood - 4.7 Feet
Lake Ivie - 15.9 Feet
Lake Sweetwater - 4.0 Feet
