AISD Tech Award

Only three technology administrators were recognized in the State of Texas, and one is from the Abilene School District.

AISD's Chief Technology Officer, Mark Gabehart, was honored with a statewide award from the Texas Computer Educators Association.

Gabehart, has taken many steps to improve technology in the school district.

Recently AISD installed 90 Promethean interactive whiteboards.

They also added digital photo labs and started the mouse squad.
