APD: Family Fight, DWI

 On Thursday, at about 11:08 P.M., Officer Holmes stopped a vehicle in the 3700 block of Trinity. The driver, a 34 year old white male, was intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The suspect had a prior conviction for DWI. This incident marks the 81st DWI incident in Abilene since January 1st.

This morning, at about 1:15 A.M., Officer Wideman responded to a disturbance call in the 1900 block of Fannin. The victim stated her husband, a 29 year old hispanic male, had struck her during an argument. The suspect was arrested for Assault/Family Violence.
