Truck Gets Stuck Under Bridge

By: Chris Whited, KRBC News
Updated: February 17, 2009
An unusual accident caused some minor traffic problems this morning in Abilene.

Just before the 9:00 hour a tractor trailer was crossing underneath the bridge at the intersection of South 7th and the Winters Freeway and ended up getting stuck.

The trailer was too tall and got lodged under the bridge.

No one was hurt in the accident but Abilene Police had to block the turn for traffic to cross from Danville to Clack without going through the traffic lights (where the trailer got stuck) while police worked to free the stuck truck.
