"Empty Bowls" to Fill

By: Courtnee Hembree
Updated: February 18, 2009
Fighting hunger in the big country starts with dinner.

This Saturday is the Empty Bowls project.

Local artists have spent the last year creating beautiful bowls that are being given away for you to purchase.

When you donate to the Empty Bowls project you will receive a bowl filled with soup and the money raised will be used here in the Big Country to fight hunger.

75 percent of the money raised this year will be used here in the Big Country with the other 25 percent being sent to Heifer International.
