State Fire Officals have ruled the start of the fire, that claimed two lives, as "undetermined" but believe that it possibly started as an electrical fire in an unused trailer home on the Bradshaw's property.

It was just after 10 o'clock when fire officals first responded to a structure off of CR 379, just northwest of Merkel. The fire claimed the life of 46 year old Kevin Bradshaw and his 4 year old son Conner. T

he State Fire Marshal's Investigator did not arrive until late Wednesday afternoon, but police requested that all media remain off the property while the investigation was underway.

The family, who stayed at the scene most of the day, also asked that the media stay away. The bodies of both father and son have been taken to the Southwest Institute of Forensic Science in Dallas for autopsy.
