The independent spirit that symbolizes the Texas cowboy is alive and well in the big country.

In this On the Range, Sam Nichols introduces us to a father and son who carry on a family tradition of craftsmanship.

Tommy Sprayberry began making bits and spurs out of necessity, but the trend soon caught on.

He has now made over 580 sets of spurs, and over 1,200 bits.

In addition to making bits and spurs, Tommy has also made several saddles for himself and friends.
