ACU Will Appeal Probation

KRBC News learned this Wednesday that Abilene Christian University plans to appeal a ruling by the NCAA regarding football and track violations.
ACU Athletic Director Jared Mosley said the appeal had to happen.
"The only thing we can say is that we feel very firmly that this is the right thing to do moving forward," Mosley said, "and regardless of outcome, we think it is important to venture into this avenue."
Also, Mosley stated this whole process will take a minimum of 90 to 120 days to take place, and could even go into the summer before a decision by the NCAA will be made.
As of right now, ACU will have to vacate the wins from the 2007 football season, and the stats that came along with those victories..
ACU has 30 days to officially file an appeal.
