Legendary Radio Announcer Dies

 Legendary radio announcer Paul Harvey has died.

Harvey was a news commentator and talk-radio pioneer whose style made him one of the nation's most familiar voices.

He died today surrounded by family and friends at a Phoenix, Arizona hospital where he had a winter home. He was 90-years-old.

Harvey's best known for his series of programs called "The Rest of the Story."

He worked for ABC radio networks and a virus weakened a vocal cord, and forced him off the air for a while in 2001.

Harvey returned to work in chicago and was still active as he passed his 90th birthday.
