Old Man Winter Returns

By: Chris Whited, KRBC News
Updated: March 11, 2009
They say around here if you don't like the weather then wait a while... it will change and what a difference 24-hours has made! Winter make full return to the Big Country on Wednesday bringing in much below normal cold temperatures, not to mention some much needed rainfall.

The weather kept many people home away from the parks and the stores but a few people ventured out today. We spoke to several residents about the weather change and many said they actually welcomed the cooler weather. The big topic was of course the rainfall. One woman we spoke with said we need much more and what we saw Wednesday morning was not enough.

Rain chances and cold weather will remain in the forecast for the next several days across West Texas. Be sure to stay tuned to KRBC for any weather updates.
