 On Thursday, at about 10:55 P.M., Officer Allen responded to a traffic accident at South 1st and Treadaway. Officer Allen contacted one of the drivers, who was a 31 year old hispanic female. This subject left the scene while Officer Allen was investigating the accident. She was later contacted at her residence and arrested for Driving While License Invalid, Failure To Move Right With Safety, and Leaving The Scene of an Accident.

This morning, at about 12:45 A.M., Officer Hutchinson stopped a vehicle in the 3900 block of South Treadaway. The driver, a 21 year old hispanic male, was intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The suspect provided a breath specimen that was more than double the legal limit. This incident marks the 123rd DWI incident in Abilene since January 1st. Please, dont drink and drive.
