At 6:15 last night, Officer Vaughn was called a retail store in the 1600 block of Highway 351 for a theft. A 34 year old black male was observed concealing items in his pants then leaving the store without paying for them. When he was taken into custody, he was in possession of $298 of stolen property. A car stereo and radar detector were among the items found in his pants.

Officer Ohnheiser was called to the same north side retail store at 6:40 for another theft. This time a 16 year old Hispanic male was observed concealing approximately $60 in video games. He was also arrested and transported to the Taylor County Jail.

Then at 6:45 last night, Officer Gates was called to retail store in the 4500 block of South 1st for a theft. Two black male juveniles, a 12 year old and a 13 year old, had been detained by loss prevention personnel after they left the store without paying for approximately $350 worth of merchandise. A class B-misdemeanor theft report was taken and the suspects were released to their guardians.
