APD: K9 Makes Drug Bust

At 5:00 last night, Officer Woods observed a vehicle fail to signal a left turn at North 2nd and Kirkwood than again at North 2nd and Merchant. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, a 34 year old white male, had an expired drivers license and numerous previous arrest for narcotics. K9 was called and alerted on the vehicle. Approximately 7 oz of marijuana was located. He was arrested and transported to the Taylor County Jail.

Then at 6:00 last night, Officer Tollison stopped a 22 year old white male for driving without a seatbelt. His drivers license was suspended and during a search, marijuana was located on him. He was arrested for possession of marijuana and driving while license is invalid.
