Updated: April 22, 2009
At 3:30 yesterday afternoon, Officer Hogue responded to a call in the 700 block of North 21st Street. Upon arrival the driver, a 38 year old white male, along with two others, were contacted in the vehicle. A trailer was connected to that vehicle. The driver stated that he had borrowed the trailer but a computer check revealed the trailer was owned by a man in Brownwood. The Brownwood Police Department was contacted and verified the trailer was stolen. He was arrested for theft and transported to the Taylor County Jail.

Then at 10:00 last night, Officer Davis was called to the 4300 block of Mary Lou. The calling party and the suspect are married but currently separated and were in a heated argument. The two were literally nose to nose yelling at one another when the man licked her on the nose. This angered the the female and she slapped him knocking off his glasses. A family violence report was completed.
